There is no theme for the awards, but entries must be original,contemporary and innovative.
Eligible:
They invite emerging artists and designers -professional, student (18+) or amateur - to consider the production of originalnew work to celebrate the second decade of the 21st Century.
* This work should be innovative, beautiful and demonstrate environmental sustainability.
* The work should demonstrate that the artist or designer hascreated in a new way, either moving outside their usual formor practise or moving into another medium.
Awards:
* One Free Design Factory Membership for one year including one-to-one support
* Work from the 20 shortlisted candidates will be mounted in a special gallery show throughout July, August and September 2011 at 78 Derngate.
